The grazing land extends to about 16.50 acres (6.69 hectares) or thereby and lies to the west of the Steading. It also gives an alternative access to the Rough Grazing and Amenity Woodland on Drumnagarrachan.

The land at Cragganmore is classed as Grade 4 (1) by the John Hutton Institute Land Classification maps. Grade 4(1) land is defined as land which is “non-prime land that grows a narrow range of crops, especially grass but harvesting may be difficult”. The land lies between about 500 feet and 500 feet above sea level and has a mainly southerly aspect.
