Probably the finest plot for a new house in Perthshire!
Set within the well maintained gardens and grounds around the ruins of the former Wolfhill Free Church, with an undisturbed southerly outlook and full planning permission for one detached house extending to about 0.58 acre (0.24 hectare)
The plot was formerly part of the garden ground of Wolfhill House which was a former manse. The United Free Church at Wolfhill, also sometimes referred to as Cargill Free Church, was built in 1845 and its accompanying manse in 1852. From a congregation of 360 in 1848 the building of a church at Burrelton, and the depletion of the population, tended to reduce the membership. By 1901 the congregation was listed being 201. After the local union with Wolfhill, this church ceased to be used in 1948 and was sold.
All of the outer walls of the building remain but the roof was removed many years ago. The building is not listed as being of architectural and historic interest.
The ground around the former Church has been well maintained and features a number of very fine specimen trees including copper beech trees. The plot is surrounded by a mature beech and yew hedge.

Full Planning Permission for the erection of a dwellinghouse and garage was granted by Perth & Kinross Council on 7th May 2015 under reference 15/00319/FLL. Full details are available via the Perth & Kinross Council Planning Portal
Site Preparation Work will commence on the site prior to 6th May 2018 so that the planning permission will have been activated.
A Road Construction Consent has been issued by Perth & Kinross Council for the construction of an access road into the plot from the public road. A copy is available from the selling agents.
As required by the planning permission, an archaeological standing building survey has been carried out and submitted to Perth & Kinross Council who have confirmed that it meets the requirements set out in the planning permission.
